As the Manager - Managed Service Platform Operations (m/f/d), you will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals specializing in managing, automating, and developing our managed service platforms based on bare metal and virtualization. This includes overseeing the delivery of high-quality services related to our cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services.

Tasks
- Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a highly motivated team, ensuring the smooth running of services related to managed service platform operations.
- Providing operational guidance with strategic background, mentorship, and support to team members to drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, such as product & hardware development, product management, and data center operations to understand business requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Defining comprehensive operational and product roadmaps, outlining strategic initiatives, key milestones, resource allocations, and timelines to guide the team in achieving operational excellence and delivering innovative products aligned with business objectives.
- Implementing best practices, processes, and standards to optimize managed service platform operations efficiency, availability, and reliability and ensure solid 24x7 on-call operations.
- Monitoring performance metrics, analyzing trends, and implementing solutions to enhance the overall managed service platform infrastructure. Creating and maintaining reports (KPI, Scorecard) to visualize the status of the performance of tasks and projects, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a dynamic hosting or cloud infrastructure environment, demonstrating proficiency in managing platform services, handling dynamic workloads, and adapting to evolving technological landscapes.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in data-driven (KPI, OLA/SLA) senior operational management roles of cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and managed service platform operations.
- Strong tactical leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading technical teams in mixed hybrid and remote environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues. Project management experience, including prioritization, resource allocation, and meeting deadlines.
