Tasks that ignite your passion:

As Head of Portal Products, you will shape the technological future of our core products with direct impact on our customer’s lives and:

• You will lead and coach an agile software development team of 9 engineers and develop your area further.
• You will be responsible for the development and evolution of all team’s products, ensuring that the right architecture and technology choices are made.
• You deal with concepts of large distributed systems based on Java, Javascript/Angular/React, and NoSQL databases. You are familiar with corresponding technologies such as SpringBoot, Cassandra and Apache Kafka, Kubernetes or comparable alternatives.
• You plan it, you build it, you run it - together with Product Management, QA and IT Operations you are responsible for the highly available operations. Your contribution: automating, implementing resilience and security patterns, using scalable technologies and supporting also other operation topics like observability, alerting and anomaly detection.
• You create the foundation for data-driven decision making together with your Data Analysts and Machine Learning Experts.

Your qualifications which inspire us:

Have you completed a technical degree or comparable work experience? Are you interested in leading a strong and well-established team? Furthermore, are you keen to make use of new technologies? Are you driven to deliver outstanding product features together with your team as well as maintaining them? Are you showing a "hands-on" work attitude? • Several years of professional experience as a Senior- or Lead developer or as Teamlead, proven record of accomplishment of developing and mentoring people.
• Solid knowledge of software design, software architecture and clean code.
• Interested in recent technologies, creativity and open to discussions to improve our products.
• Great communication, experience in managing different stakeholders and used to work independently and welcome working in an agile team together with different disciplines.
• You thrive in and actively promote a vibrant culture that champions team autonomy, empowering individuals to take ownership and collaborate seamlessly. You deeply appreciate and prioritize (technical) excellence, all that while valuing and embracing the distinct qualities and diverse needs of each team member.
